New Wave
In the 1980s, fashion and music turned colorful and fun. Electronic keyboards and drum machines were all the rage. The hair was big and clothes were tight and colorful. More people became expressive, poppy, and kind of weird.
I created a fun ‘zine for students to color and draw New Wavers. They LOVED drawing wild hairstyles that cover one eye, or that stand up. They made animal prints and bold colors for the clothing, and some even drew keyboards.
