About Ms. Y.

Jo Anne Yada, AKA Ms. Y., is an arts educator in the East Bay Area. She teaches kindergarteners pop culture and art for The Alameda Music Project after school program. During school breaks, she hosts art camps and classes, some of which include painting murals for local businesses. After many years of museum education and substitute teaching, she began creating videos, lesson plans, and podcast episodes to connect with other arts educators.
